Third Annual FilmNITE – Interactive Film Screenings Submissions Due: February 3rd

Highlands Borough Arts Council (HBAC) and Bahrs Landing Restaurant are pleased to announce the third annual FilmNITE series taking place on selected Friday evenings starting February 10th.

FilmNITE is an interactive experience where filmmakers and photographers present their work and then discuss their work with the audience in a cozy, casual screening room environment.  Over the past two years, award winning film makers presenting at FilmNITE have included independent film makers, a UN film maker, an iconic social media film maker, and a wildlife photographer.  This year we welcome back several of our acclaimed film makers, but we have a few openings in the calendar.

The program is from 7:30 – 9:00 pm.  The film/presentation must be 45 – 60 minutes followed by 15-30 minutes of discussion.  Films or presentations need to be streamed, available on DVD, or available on a desktop application.  The screening is offered to the public free of charge; the film makers provide the film and the discussion as a community service.

Interested film makers and photographers must submit their work for consideration by FEBRUARY 3.  Please send your submission to highlandsartscouncil@gmail.com.  Include the following information:

1.     Your Name and Phone Number

2.     Available Friday Evenings between Feb 10 and March 31st

3.     Title, Duration,  and a brief Description

4.     Video clip, Link or Attachment

5.     Format (streamed, CD, power point presentation etc.)

In addition to Bahrs Landing, Highlands Borough Arts Council wishes to thank the following sponsors: In the Garden, Rick’s Eco-Green & Clean, Gateway Press, and Lab Scientific.
