“…the viewer brings his or her own histories and judgements to my images, continuing and adding to the narrative.” ~Stacey Pritchard
Stacey AS Pritchard returns to Water Witch Coffee, from summer of 2014, with all new work in multimedia materials combining, drawing, sculpture and painting with a variety of material to create glimpses into small narratives. Pritchard, inspired primarily by the human condition, has been influenced by the works of Duchamp, Twombly, Kiefer, Rauschenberg and Schiele, and specifically “the way these artists have broken and played with the form on and off their canvas or panel.” Pritchard’s pieces range from formal landscape studies and life sketches to images and reflections on childhood, and humanity in the current world.
Stacey AS Pritchard graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree from Ringling School of Art and Design in 1995. She and her husband Al Pritchard live in Highlands, NJ at the northern part of the beach with their two dogs. She is active in the community and is currently exploring many creative venues.
